It's the numbers in the community vouching for this that would push the HOA managing company to acknowledge this as more of a savings then an expense. The HOA is not going to spend money on professionals to tell them how to do their jobs efficiently. Thats just the way it is unless otherwise forced. How many do we need to have to justify a qourum? Seriously.... does anyone know, and have a plan of what it will take to have changes implemented? Does anyone know how many votes Lennar holds in our community? Is anyone actually taking this seriously? Does anyone have any organization what so ever and a plan to seriously provide any long term solutions? Does anyone have intimate knowledge of our bylaws and how to get them changed? Why is it our community is soooooo oblivious about what it is we have to do collectively to enforce change? This year will be another rant fest waste of time because no one understands how to make changes happen and will only approach the meeting with tall tails of how it could be run better but absolutely no real insight of how to get from A to B. Skuse my B fest but I am getting tired of providing information to educate only to find myself as the only one reading what we provide to our community. Until people get sick of the BS and get involved we are pretty much just a thorn in the administrative and board side with our "free thinking". Bunch O long haired hippies...

Being miles away from my HOA folder, I have to rely on my memory...and it ain't what it used to be.
Lennar has like 7 votes for every one homeowner vote or something sick. It also has something to do with the occupancy %age, which means that once the subdivision is occupied to a certain percent, they lose the huge voting edge. Of course, with people walking away from their houses and getting foreclosed upon, that percentage isn't an easy thing to get.
