My dad makes a lot of websites. I am happy he made a website for our family. This is my first blog ever. I am not the only one with a blog. My friends Ethan has one too. I hope everyone visits our website and meets our family.

Capitol of Texas
Well we had an interesting day today. We went to the capitol of Texas to give testimony to the Senators and the Sunset Review to abolish the Texas Residential Construction Commission. Although eventfull and productive, it was tiring. Here are a couple of photos of us at the capitol.
Fun time at the Park
It was such a nice day today we went to the park and let Jillian run around. She is growing so fast. I am so glad we have a place to document and share these times of her life. I put a video up of her swinging HERE.
The Pond
I dug a giant hole in the back yard. Natalie came home late one night from work around Feb 07 to find me tossing dirt over my head with a shovel. Needless to say she rolled her eyes and went back inside the house.
She puts up with so much of my crazy ideas, bless her heart. Today the existing pond is enjoyed every evening. We sit out back and watch the bull frogs come running to the pond when the sun sets. They croak all night and it truely is a place of enjoyment that we love.

Same ole thing
Since Mike and I got together we have been going non-stop. Both of us share similiar ways of doing things and we make the perfect team when it comes to stirring the pot!! For the past 6 months a friend of ours and us have been working on breaking the story about arsenic in the soil in our subdivision and today it finally went live. We keep telling ourselves that we are going to step back and take a break but something always comes up and we are back in it again. A trip to a deserted island for a month would be awesome!! It has been enormously time consuming and mentally and physically draining, but if we can help people make a better decision about buying a home out here then it seems worth it. I am looking forard to Halloween this year!! I think its time for us to let our hair down a little and have a costume party!!
Recent Happenings
Well as of lately we have been doing a lot of research about the land and the history behind it. We have found out the soil around these parts was, and might still be, contaminated with arsenic. You can read more about it here. http://www.searchhutto.com/Hutto-Arsenic The rock patio is coming along nicely. I will put the photos up later. Other than that it is just the same bump and grind over here in Hutto. It’s enough to keep you on your toes. Oh yeah, Natalie went to a time share thingy today and if you sat through the entire event and sat around a waited for another hour you recieved a couple of free trips. So we might cash those in some time in 09 and go to Jamaica for our anniversary and honey moon that we never had. Stay tuned!
Hurrican Ike
We were without power 36 hours and without telephone/internet 4 days.
Total cost for materials to repair the house = $98.00. My labor - priceless.
Work on the house is 50 % complete, and the trees are 95 %. The trees are my next door nighbors. See attached pictures.
I will be back on the paying job tomarrow so it will be the weekend before I can get back to working on the house.
Lets see what this can do
Alrighty so we are moving right along. Now all we need is for some of our family to start registering. I wish there was a way to relate the two databases so there was only one login. Oh well, for now we are up and running and that is what counts. I came prepared to battle.
