Webmaster Note: We received the email below from a "happy" Lennar homeonwer. This is the very first email we have received like this. I emailed Kristy back and told her that she could emal me her comments about how happy she is in her Lennar home, but she never emailed back. So even though we welcome posts from Happy Homeonwers, we have not received any! And Kristy's comments about resale value are misplaced. If Lennar Homes builds defective homes, we want to help people steer clear of these homes and we want to help the people that are having problems that are not resolved. If you are a happy Lennar Homes owner, send us your comments and we will post them. We will send letters to your neighbors to make sure yours is not an isolated "happy" email and to make sure you are not a shill for Lennar . . . but if you are "happy" that should not matter. We offered Lennar Homes the opportunity to review all complaints we receive before we posted them on our website. Our offer included NOT posting complaints that Lennar Homes addressed. We even took it a step further and offered to remove any complaints that Lennar Homes addressed. Needless to say, Lennar Homes declined to accept our offer.

Email Received From "Happy" Lennar Homes Owner: Comments: I would like to say that I don't appreciate Lennar getting such a bad rap. I have lived in a Lennar Home for 2 years now and yes I have had some minor issues but all were resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. Do you realize what you are doing to my resale value. If you want to be fair you should allow us happy homeowners to post our thoughts. - Kristy Caughey

Second "Happy Lennar Homeowner" - The quality of a Lennar Home is better than the quality of a custom builder. I have bought a custom home and was not impressed about the quality of the home or the service that came with it. Since then I bought a Lennar home and have been very satisified with my home and the service Lennar brings me. I have had a few problems, nothing major, and Lennar has always done what was right. - Kevin Murphree - Rowlett, Texas

Webmaster Note: Most people have no idea how defective their Lennar homes can be. Even most home inspectors, have no idea what to look for. But when you hire a very high end inspector, that's when you're going to see what's wrong with the very essence of your home. Inspections must go beyond the paint, walls, cielings and if the roof looks nice. Neither one of the happy homeowners posted here would send us an inspection report. So you must wonder if they are just happy because they are ignorant of the defects and building code violations, or whether they might have other reasons for boasting about how happy they are with their homes. After reading the horror stories on this website, all Lennar homeowners should have a very high level inspection done of their home.

Third Email Received From Happy Homeowner - My God!!! You don't have anything else to do but complaint about Lennar Homes! Who are you? an unhappy customer that doesn't have anything else to do?? You are wrong! Get a life!!! I'm a happy Lennar Homes buyer and I would never change this builder at all! I bet you won't put this comment in your website. Are you? - M. Martin but she would not tell us what subdivision or what state she is in.

Webmaster Note: Obviously she lost her bet. We do post "happy homeowner" emails, but we just don't receive many. You're seeing all that we have received, with the exception of the ones filled with nonsense and profanity. For the benefit of this lady, I am not an unhappy Lennar homeowner. I am actually a real estate broker that has seen the American Dream turn into an American Nightmare first hand. I spent a few days with Lisa Ugalde and her 2 and 5 year old daughters, after their father was electrocuted in a new Lennar home. I've spoken with hundreds of devastated owners that have been battling Lennar . . . some for up to 7 years. I spoke to a 77 and 82 year old couple that Lennar battled for 7 months . . . over $500. And the list goes on, as you can see on this website.

One other note in response to this "happy homeowner." I do have a life. I spend most of my time helping Lennar owners that are living in the American Nightmare. Why not get a thorough inspection of your home, and learn the hard truth about the home you are living in?
