I have emailed Sabrina Washburn serveral times in regards to my past
assessments and requested a Hardship retainer because they say I owe $5200.00 in
attorneys fees and assessments. I had a hardship before paying the full $360.00
a year. What has significantly changed that allows me to afford to pay $200 a
month for the next 39 months? I just got my home out of foreclosure and need
help in getting some of the fees and assessments waived. I've paid in
roughly 2500 dollars and this should have taken care of all my assessments and
reasonable attornys fees.

I am having problems with our homeowners assc. b/c of an accident that occured last december. A roommate that I had who was moving 2 days later was walking his dog when a car hit the front colums. He turned the car off after the guy ran and a cop pulled in. My roommate was arrested due to no one else being around. The HOA held me responsible and I refused to pay for it. In August I tried to refinance my house after lennar did the repairs to my house for 2 months, When the title company started doing the docs they found out that the HOA put a lien agianst my house. I had no choice but to pay it and wait for my former roommate to get paper work saying no charges were brought agianst him. In September I got his paper work stating "in the interest of justice" there would be no charges filed. I gave these to the HOA and they held a board meeting and they told me that they don't believe I am responsible but they would be able to give me my money back due to the lack of evidence. I had told Ward when this all happened that I was going to wait to pay the fines until it went through the court. As we all know Ward has since been fired. I bought my house at the age of 19, and I might have bitten off more the I can chew at this point. I am now 22 and all the money I have saved has been given to the HOA. The court has already decided. It wasn't even his car! If you have any suggestions......anything at all please let me know.
