Here are just a few stories and or photos, from those that have been through this drywall repair process or other repairs. These homes are just a few that have been documented as being repaired or having problems. The total home count reported to Channel 8 news on 9/25/2007 was 100 homes for drywall repair. I wonder how many more were not counted for other issues like driveway or re-grading issues.

My name is Diana and I wanted to contribute my experience with Lennar. We closed on our home on 3/23/06. Three months after closing on our home we had to contact Lennar because cracks began appearing on our driveway and along our house by the brick part. We also had problems with our doors closing and sticking. We contacted Lennar and they told me that it is a cosmetic comcern. While we were at work they sealed the cracks along our home but never touched the cracks along our driveway. They explained to us that if they fixed the cracks in the driveway the cracks would just reappear. They also explained that they would send someone back to our home to fix the doors. Up until now no one has still come to repair our doors.
In March of 2007 I noticed other problems with our home. Our back patio had cracks in it separating the patio from the home, nails coming out of our ceiling, huge cracks in all corners ouf our home. I contacted Lennar and they came to inspect our home. Russ explained that the concern was a cosmetic one and that we would need to move out of our home for 7 days so that they could repair our home. So the last week of April we moved out of our home expecting to be our of out home for 7 days. We were told on the 7th day that they were still repairing our home and instead of being out of our home for 7 days we were out of our home for 17 days with 2 small children. When we came back to our home some of our boxes were missing and we found more concerns with our home than when we left. The concerns include the following: Unrepaired cracks in our walls, windows leaking everytime it rained, parts of our walls not painted, light fixtures put on either incorrectly or not evenly, holes in the wall that were not repaired, my refrigerator was unplugged when they said it would not be and all of my food spoiled and my refrigerator stunk up our entire house, cracks still on my patio and driveway, contractors threw drywall materials in my garden so that my entire garden was white, my bathroom cabinets had scratches on them and they were not put back correctly, my tile in the utility room was ripped apart and my window fixtures were damaged beyond repair. Only a handful of these listed concerns were taken care of only after I had to take off from work 3 days to accomodate the contractors schedule.
This is our first home and Lennar has managed to ruin the entire experience for us. Now we are noticing that the ground in the back yard is splitting and they have lots of cracks in the ground. We know at this point if we were to try to sell our home we would not get anywhere near the price we paid for the home because of the repairs and continuelly concerns we have with the home.
