Lennar Homes Built to Fail!
If your dream is to own your own house do yourself a favor and don't buy lennar or any lennar related product. Your dream will quickly turn into a nighmare you will live everyday. The lies from Lennar representatives, missed repair appointments, repairs that make the problems worse, illegal alien subcontractors that have absolutely no respect for your house or your property, are just a few things to look forward to with Lennar products. In my experience if you are having problems with your house here in Huttoparke then you better learn to speak Spanish. Lennar will send workers that don't speak a word of English and are totally unsupervised to your house. This is one of the reasons Lennar wants you out of your house while attempting to repair because witnessing the circus would only make your realize how incompetent they are.
When I moved into my home here is a list of things I noticed right away were not working.
My list is an example of the type of employees they use and an example of the quality of work the do. The subcontractors here don't care. The do shoddy repairs as fast as possible. Lennar will put you off and delay repairs as long as possible. They do this for reasons of:
Save yourself the misery of owning a Lennar home and buy something else.
Make sure to always Google your builders name and lawsuits or class action before buying your home.

I am still in a fight to get Lennar to fix my house. They fight you every step of the way even before the one-year warranty mark.
In my opinion Lennar is dishonest, disreputable, and packed full of liars from the sales staff to the CEO. Once you are in your new house they could care less if you are happy.
I had to retain a lawyer just to get basic repairs done which left my home from bad to worse. I suggest lawyers complaints to the city of Hutto, Better Business Bureau, Texas Attorney General, and the Williamson County tax appraisal district..
I'm sure all of us see our properties worth less everyday due to Lennar's incompetence.

More repairs attempted at 224 Flinn. Non-english speaking sheet rock workers were turned away by me for not having any identification which is a requirement in our state to be employed. Lennars Service rep Ruben, arrogantly told me that they did not need to show me any form of I.D. I informed him that he might want to brush up on the state laws and his customer relations. Both Ruben and the sheet rock crew left at a high rate of speed which is unacceptable with children playing in the streets. I was also informed that Gayland Whisnand was in the neighborhood looking at another faulty house. I briefly talked about the workers inability to fix any of the problems our neighborhood was having and the attitude of the service representatives. I then approached his about the HUD 92541 form and the misrepresented question F-2. Whisnand said and I qoute "It was a mistake". I then asked what he planned to do about it and he said "I will have to consult with our legal department."
Will Lennar continue to hide behind their big corporation lawyers or will they step up and do the right thing for the neighborhood? My experience with Lennar say they will continue to stick it to the homeowners in Huttoparke and continue to lie and cut corners to make a buck.
