Here are just a few stories and or photos, from those that have been through this drywall repair process or other repairs. These homes are just a few that have been documented as being repaired or having problems. The total home count reported to Channel 8 news on 9/25/2007 was 100 homes for drywall repair. I wonder how many more were not counted for other issues like driveway or re-grading issues.

Contractors removing the brick from the side of the house. Is this typical of a new home or are there more severe problems going on our here than what Lennar is letting on?

While this residence was being repaired Lennar, (once again) left the windows open all night and day allowing the rain to enter the house. We have shown pictures of it again and again but somehow Lennar customer care associates still allow this to happen.
When I finally read your website and realized that my house has many of the same problems I figured I had better do something about it. It's pathetic when you can't even put up bead board because your walls aren't level. I have also never put up the crown molding I wanted due to crooked corners.
My husband and I bought the house in October of 2004 and were so excited because this is our first home. We have two small boys and wanted to be in a nice neighborhood where they could grow up with that small town feel. After hearing all of this I regret not buying in Austin where builders know how to take care of their clients. The AC has never worked properly but we don't have the money to go out and revamp our duct system. I guess we have been a little naive and were trying to sit out the completion of the neighborhood so we could sell. However, our house appraises at 10 grand less than we bought it for. Something is definitely wrong with that one don't you think? Also now with the crack in the foundation....I can never sell it. I guess we just didn't want to believe that we were going to have to move again...(We have moved over 10 times since we met 8 ears ago. I am tired of moving. What else do I need to do as far as "complaints?" Should I wait until Lennar contacts us about repairs????
I just wanted to copy you on a customer care request that I sent in last night to Lennar. It reads as follows.
"I was recently doing a routine walk-through of my house and discovered that I have a CRACK IN MY FOUNDATION, a couple of nail pops, my ceiling is beginning to sag along the tape and float lines, my driveway is CRACKED, and there are CRACKS running along the length of my garage. I am also able to see shadows where the beams in the ceiling run the length of my house. Also, the mortar outside of my front door is falling off...again. Also, when looking in my attic, there are some suspicious looking boards that were used in construction as well as something closely resembling an egg carton nailed to the structure. And to top it all off...my A/C still does not perform as promised! Please contact me ASAP to resolve these issues. I am not happy!"
