Here are just a few stories and or photos, from those that have been through this drywall repair process or other repairs. These homes are just a few that have been documented as being repaired or having problems. The total home count reported to Channel 8 news on 9/25/2007 was 100 homes for drywall repair. I wonder how many more were not counted for other issues like driveway or re-grading issues.

Well I bought my house brand new on June 18,2005. I was only 19 years old I was so excited.......that only lasted 1 1/2 years. It started with the back door not wanting to close or lock, then the windows started growing mold and water was settling on the base of the window. Then came the cracks and the nail pops in the guest bathroom and soon they were everywhere. At first we thought that it was just the house settling, then we heard from the neighbors that it was happing to alot of the houses. We called Amy and set a time to move and were told that it would only be 2 weeks, well a couple of days before we were suppose to move and I had already arranged to be off work I got a call saying that they over booked that day so it wouldn't happen. So I set up a new day. Then that didn't work out so it was changed agian, it changed 3 times in one day! My boss is pretty understanding but still wasn't happy about all the changes, He kept asking if I was sure it was going to happen.
We finally moved 2 weeks after the original date. We were out for 5 1/2 weeks. We were lucky enough to to be able to stay with my sister. I became concerned when we would stop by the house b/c they only removed the ceiling and the top 16in of the walls, which did nothing for the livingroom wall and master bedroom wall that were bowing out. They never replaced the 2x4s in the attic, which I thought was causing the whole mess. They did nothing to the windows b/c they said they tested them and no water came through, well then how do you explain the mold crawling up the inside of the windows and the water? They also said that no one in the neighborhood had problems with leaking windows which is clearly not true b/c I have read on this site and it seems that it is a pretty common problem. They got paint everywhere, texture was all messed up. There was chunks hanging of the walls. They didn't even try to make fixtures striaght when they put them back up. We were missing door knobs but they said they would just take it from another house to replace ours..When we moved I gave them my house key, well when we moved back in they gave me some elses house key and when I complained they changed to front locks and didn't give me a key for that. So for a week if my roommate wasn't home then I was locked out. They put holes in the doors and it took almost a month to get those. The movers then broke my 52in TV. The base boards still aren't sealed very well at the corners.....it looks like crap!!
I thought that by buying a house at 19 that I was getting a head in life but this has been the worst exprience of my life. While we were out of the house I was a complete neverous wreck. In my opinion, LENNAR SUCKS!!
