Lennar fined over $515,00 by Bay Area Air Quality Management District in San Francisco.

Lennar is a Rogue Company that has defaulted on its first Disposition and Development Agreement linked to Parcel A on Hunters Point Naval Shipyard - in San Francisco.

Stop Lennar Action Movement (SLAM) is making progress. This is our movement formed in San Francisco to drive Lennar from our community and into oblivion.

This progress takes a lot of work.

The community is happy that the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) fined Lennar $515,000. This is perhaps the first time - Lennar has been fined by this Regulatory Agency.

Such community victories highlight the crooked company and developer that Lennar is. Lennar paid the fine but in reality it has to pay more - but, for political pressure.

Lennar had in fact 380 Notices of Violation and the fine that should have been imposed should have been $38 million.

All this for polluting the area with toxic dust. Not stopping work while Lennar faulted on the Dust Mitigation Plan. Lennar failed to stop work when the exceedence linked to Asbestos Structure - were over the cap of 16,000 Structure per cubic meter. On some days - when the Notice of Violation - were issues - the exceedences reached over 60,000 structures per cubic meter.

So, even though Lennar was fined this measly amount of $515,000 - you still can see some politicians and other crooked authorities - going to bat for Lennar - on other issues. We are watch them carefully and all this takes time. Investigative reporting takes time - but we have a good crew and our crew is committed.

The good news is Lennar has brought in some new Partners, and has created another Limited Liability Company - and this new pact is faltering. Lennar as you know with intent - poisoned our children and elders. The new partners are just getting to know Lennar - and what they hear and see - is not good.

Stop Lennar Action Movement (SLAM) does not want Lennar in our community.

We are now working with other areas like Oakland, Richmond, and or course San Francisco to create awareness about the toxic triangle - and take our common plight to Sacramento the Capital and expose Lennar and the so called Representatives like Senator Diane Feinstein and Congressperson Nancy Pelosi - that are in bed with Lennar.

Lennar's stocks and shares are down - and Lennar is now - sinking in the cesspool of its own making. We are doing our homework and appreciate the other stakeholders stepping up and putting pressure on Lennar.

This after all is our common fight.

We, in San Francisco all volunteer and this takes a lot of time. It was a surprise when I saw - when I had last posted on this site.Which goes to tell you - how time flies.

We in San Francisco continue to meet every Thursday at 7 pm at the Grace Tabernacle Community Church. We continue to inform our constituents and we continue to hold Lennar accountable.

The present Economic crisis has hit Lennar badly - and most of us see that Lennar is faltering and this is good. We need to stay united to get rid of this skunk that has left its stench all over this Nation.

At Mare Island in Vallejo, California - Lennar promised to build 10,000 homes and declared bankruptcy. The Vallejo Council shortly declared bankruptcy - it was looking forward to the money from Lennar. Now, Mare Island is on the auction block.

In Northern California several Lennar projects have been stopped and some have declared bankruptcy.

No good comes from Lennar. Our San Francisco Mayor - Gavin Newsom is in bed with Lennar and it is just a matter of time - before he will have a reality check.
