It has been awhile since we have posted anything online about the Hutto Parke situation. All allegations of fraudulent business practices still stand. Lennar has opted for a ruling in our local court (which has been filed again). After Lennar stomped their feet and demanded to
follow their arbitration clauses found in the contract, we find ourselves back in local court due to the bloated costs reflected in Lennar’s arbitration

The lacking performance of this house and everything built in, and around it, by the Lennar contracted employees, just never ceases to amaze me. February 28, 2009 started off just like any day. My wife pulls me aside and tells me to take a look around the side of the house. I take a look and the fence is completely lying on the ground. If you have not followed my blog of problems with my Lennar home, they have been non stop. From days after moving into this home saturated with the Logic Lennar has to give, it has been non-stop issue after issue.
Usually Christmas is a time to be with family and exchange gifts. It is one of the best times of year for me. Well Usually. When you buy a Lennar home the gift of repairs just keep on giving. For Christmas my Lennar home gave me a leaky pipe that had been slowly damaging the floors and ceiling for a long time unnoticed. This damage started showing just months out of our 2 year warranty that covered something like this. So directly after the holidays I got to rip out the floor, ceiling, and replace the septic pipe that came with my new home.
It never ceases to amaze me how many people have complained about the company that refutes all claims of wrong doing and prides itself on doing "the right thing". I swear if I read one more news article featuring Lennar and the quote "we are trying to do the right thing" I am going to stab myself in the eyeball with a butter knife coated in hot sauce. I have a brilliant idea. Why not just begin with doing the right thing at the base level of all aspects of the home building and recruitment of contractor process.
Lennar's stock LEN continues to take a downward spiral as the Chinese drywall scenario stays in the headline news. Barry Minkow of the Fraud Discovery Institute is not helping Lennar's stock situation with the continuation of potential fraud information he is providing to back his allegations of fraudulent behavior. All and all I can only say it is well deserved as in my opinion the company does not deserve to exist any longer. The grief I have encountered from initially doing business with this company as a home buyer has not made me a fan in the least.
I am happy to say Lennar Defects has moved upwards on google's search ranking to number 13 for the keyword search of "Lennar". Our content in the last couple of months has exploded into a Lennar smorgasbord of goodies for everyone. We are moving up in a manner that would make George Jefferson proud.

I was reading the LEN yahoo stock discussion boards this morning showcasing Lennar's outlook as being dim at best. Today their stock is floating around $3.50 and the comments left online would make anyone owning Lennar stock queasy just owning a stake in this company. It is my prediction as the months roll on that more bankruptcies are sure to follow. As the foreclosure rate skyrockets and more and more banks get desperate to sell off inventory to recover monies, Lennar's competition will ultimately be the banks which I feel is kinda ironic in a sense.
Another Lennar lawsuit was filed November 4th, 2008. What is different about this lawsuit is that it has been filed for my wife and I. Finally we are moving forward legally to resolve our issues with Lennar using legal council. Stay tuned as you can bet this situation is about to get interesting.
